The GS2000 ground storage cylinder is an ASME manufactured and Board registered, type IV composite cylinder. At only 10’ in length and 42” in diameter, the GS2000 provides natural gas capacities that rival traditional steel cylinders while
taking up one-quarter of the space. The working pressure of the GS2000 is 3,600psig/250bar and has a CNG capacity of 21,000scf at 70°F
The GS2000 is mounted in a steel frame with ISO corner castings for easy mounting, and removal (if required), and is designed to meet most seismic requirements required by state and community planning departments. Each cylinder is registered with the ASME board, and is designed to pass the scrutiny of
most state and local boiler/high pressure vessel inspectors for easy permitting.
Additionally, with a tare weight of approximately 2,4 00lbs, the ASME2000 can be easily moved and positioned with a forklift.
All GS2000 systems feature both internal thermowells and liquid evacuation ports. The thermowell allows a wide variety of thermal monitoring devices to measure gas temperatures inside the cylinder rather than with inaccurate external temperature indicators. The liquid evacuation port makes the removal of liquid distillates and water a quick and easy process, optimizing the GS2000's gas storage capacity.
GS2000 cylinders are mounted in a steel, powder coated frame to protect the cylinder from the elements and reduce the visibility. Two access panels on each end of the unit allow for maintenance. The GS2000 is designed to be stacked two high for greater CNG storage capacity, all while keeping its small footprint
